An Observation

A political guest on The Daily Show knows he's doing a good job if after making his point, the studio is silent.

Care to enlighten us who it was? I get the Daily Show a day after you, so I can check it out and see whether you are right or FOS and the audience was simply stunned into silence.

Stunned, no doubt. Am I not always FOS?

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, Donald.

Which one are we talking about?

Doesn't matter. I always enjoy when a guest who is not liked by a partisan crowd says something that's true, and the host has to regroup to get back on the offensive, and the audience, who can't applaud, can't jeer either. It's a golden moment no matter your political leanings.

That's just kind of funny to me.

Shouldn't it be called "the Day-Old Show" over there?

It gets worse. He got Carnivale, like, a whole year later. OTOH, that did spare him some pain. For a while.

Yeah, but I do get it (almost) daily, so it's kinda the "Daily Old News Show".

I'd like to know who Don thought stunned the audience though. Although obviously the chance to call bullshit on him has now gone.
