i see NO possible comparison between the two, although obama is not 'all and everything' to me. mccain just seems bat-shit insane, that's all. whatever semblance of humanity he may have possessed no longer exists. but that's just me, as ever.
I like that blogger cuz she's a gay mom libertarian lawyer who usually does her homework.
Agreed, McCain is no pro-gay firebrand. He's sold his soul to the rightnuts to get where he is. Now that Palin has made them happy, maybe he can return to center. I guess my overall point is just that the pair of them are not the disaster for gay rights some claim them to be.
I'm not so anti-Obama. Honestly, my vote is not decided. (Though let's face it, CA is guaranteed to go blue this year whatever I do.)
My question is, what does this have to do with Obama at all? I can see why this might influence your thoughts about McCain (poor, doomed nutbag!), but where is the tie in to Obama?
Oh, just from the tack that some people might be pushed to Obama because McCain (and Palin!) are so scary, rather than for the weirdly hopeful racialism that has so many good liberals hoodwinked. :) Man, I dunno, blog titles don't get a lot of thought outa me.
I read and obey. Actually, my job is most responsible for my complete absence. I am like the one-legged man in the ass-kicking contest and have almost no free moments to toss in a post. However, as you can see, times have changed.

And this blogger you point to has credibility because ???
John McCain on LGBT rights
Google search for /John McCain "don't ask don't tell"/
If only McCain were more like Goldwater and less like ... one of those types McCain used to rant against.
He's sold his soul.
He admits Obama didn't compare Palin to a pig. ... and yet the slash/burn/lying ads continue. All's fair and all that.
Poor man. I feel sorry for him.
