Wow. How did you spot me, Roy? I thought for sure the speed of the thing would keep me incognito as I roared out of Folsom earl that morning after the ungodly night of debauchery at Don's house.
This weekend's the 40th Anniv of that prison concert. I am more than dork enough to note that the train whose whistle could be heard a-blowin' ran into Folsom on a spur line from the Placerville road, and that the intra-urban pictured here runs much the same route. They tore up the train tracks a few years ago so they could put in new train tracks.
