Fractal Oak (Quercas fractalis)

a gully scoured in vain for color
a cut for a failed railroad
a structure for a horseless carriage
a silhouette of mathematical perfection
a bridge out of shadow and into the sunrise

leafless trees are one of my most favourite things to photograph.

the best one i found was while i was on sabbatical on a farm in argentina. there was a gorgeously huge tree in the front lawn of the farm house that made me smile...
