Brings to mind the Lovecraft story, "Dagon" where the guy lands on the remote Pacific island and sees a vast city (Nan Madol?) with angles that are somehow wrong, that cannot and must not exist! (Goddamn, I miss writing like that!) Didn't the hero have that experience in "At the Mountains of Madness" as well?

might there be a recessed cove fixture tucked in there, above that door header? if there isn't, there darn well should be.
I laid a rope light up in there, plugged into a switched outlet. Makes a nice warm glow.
